What is JEE Counselling?

JEE Counselling is the process through which candidates who have qualified JEE Main and/or JEE Advanced get admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) based on their ranks and choices.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority - Conducts centralized counselling for:

  • ✓ 23 IITs (using JEE Advanced rank)
  • ✓ 31 NITs (using JEE Main rank)
  • ✓ IIITs (Government funded)
  • ✓ Other GFTIs
