INTER-SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION

Nadia, 5 July 2021 : Yesterday an Inter-School Debate Competition was held in Haripur High School with great enthusiasm. Students from 16 reputed institutions of Nadia district participated in this competition. On a nicely decorated stage, Honorable M.L.A. and a social. worker inaugurated the debate competition. The motion the debate was "Private tuition offered by school teacher-good or bad". Each competitor was given five minutes to express his or her views for or against the motion. All of them put forward some really interesting and intellectual arguments in favour of their views. The competition being over, the students of Krishnagar Collegiate School bagged the first prize while Mira High School followed them. The Chief Guest Mrs. Rashmi Das, the local B.D.O encouraged every participant and gave away the prizes among the winners. The Headmaster remarked, "All the credit should go to my students who most enthusiastically arranged everything and maintained discipline all along."
